Please do not start lining up until 8AM. As a reminder for Food Pantry Day: Please do not block individual homes driveways in the church’s neighborhood. This makes our neighbors upset, because many of them are going to work at that time, and we want to be able to continue to have our Food Pantry available for our community.
Thank you for your cooperation. We will start the Food Pantry Day at 10:00AM, on Wednesday, May 20th at Wauhatchie Methodist Church. Due to an influx of individuals seeking food assistance, we will be distributing one box per vehicle in order to accommodate more families within our community. Our monthly food pantry is held on the third Wednesday of every month and is designed to be an addition to your regular grocery purchases. We extend our gratitude to our dedicated volunteers for their unwavering support and for being the hands and feet of Jesus. If you would like to donate or volunteer to serve, show up by 9AM on the third Wednesday of the month. Also, as the weather is unpredictable in this area, please keep an eye out for our facebook posts to tell you if we will have Food Pantry if there is inclement weather conditions.

We had a wonderful time celebrating on Sunday our 2025-2026 graduates! We had a great meal and gifting time and all of our graduates enjoyed having their families and friends there to celebrate. We are so very proud of these young men! Always keep God first, and you will always be blessed in all of your future endeavors and dreams.🎓

Wauhatchie Methodist Church folks had a wonderful time visiting with the Humane Educational Society in Chattanooga today. We made this our Faith In Action mission for this month. Our congregation was able to give all of the pictured items, as well as a monetary gift to help care for the many animals in HES’s care. The shelter currently serves over 300 animals, and kitten season hasn’t even kicked off completely. We walked through the facilities today and saw so many wonderful animals waiting for loving homes. If you are willing to serve as a volunteer or a foster home, they need many willing helpers. If you are able to open your home to rescue a dog, cat, puppy or kitten, please stop by there newest location off of Hwy 58. It a very nice location with many precious volunteers and caring staff. Thank you to everyone who donated to this mission! We love our Wauhatchie Family!
