Jesus, have it ALL.

This was a moment at the end of Night of Worship where we simply sang and cried out, Lord Jesus, have it all, in adoration and recognition of who He is and what He’s done for us on the cross. Jesus is the center of it all, the one who holds all things together, the high king of Heaven. He is our savior, our friend, the tender shepherd of our souls. What a gift to worship Him. Jesus is the reason we sing, the reason we praise, the only one worthy. To Jesus be the glory!

“Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see—such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. With all the families that travel on Memorial Day Weekend (including a mission trip taking several Family Ministry volunteers away that Sunday) and with our dependence on our amazing volunteers to make effective and welcoming environments for children and adults we will not have any services on Sunday, May 24.

We look forward to being back together on Sunday, May 31 as we begin a new series!

One of our amazing Love Chattanooga partners, Blue Monarch, joined us on Sunday and it’s hard to put into words just how impactful this Sunday was! Blue Monarch exists to help women and their children break adverse cycles of addiction, abuse, and hardship to rebuild their families and find freedom, healing, and identity in Jesus Christ.

We had the opportunity to worship together and hear from two of their staff members who are also graduates of the program. Both Shakia and Alexis shared of the miraculous work God is doing and also the reality of how important loving community and support is needed in the journey. Justin shared from Luke 10 and spoke on the importance of loving our neighbor and how we are able to do that because of the generous love of Jesus extended to all of us.

We are so grateful for this partnership and it was such a gift to be together this Sunday!

This Sunday, we celebrated our 5th graders BIG TIME! 🙌 We concluded our 5th graders 12-week countdown to middle school. Our tradition of sending them off through our celebratory hand tunnel from UpStreet to Students marks this momentous day as the ending of one chapter and the beginning of another. It was so fun getting to celebrate them and send them off to middle school!

Mother’s Day is THIS Sunday, May 10 and we can’t wait to celebrate all our amazing moms! We will have a photo booth in the lobby for family photos as a special gift for moms.

PLEASE NOTE: If you would like professional photos, our photographer will be available before and after the 9:15am service and ONLY before the 11:15am service. The photo booth will still be available after the 11:15am for phone photos.

On Sunday we celebrated four amazing elementary kids and their decision to go public about their trust in Jesus through the symbol of baptism! Surrounded by friends, family, and leaders, Aubrey, Tyler, Maverick, and Michael declared boldly that they believe Jesus is their Savior.

It’s INCREDIBLE what God is doing across the children’s ministries at our church! We are so thankful for this safe community where kids too can discover, develop, and deepen a relationship with Jesus.
