Today’s Bible Byte (plus)- Tuesday, June 23. Luke 6:27-28, EASY- “Jesus then said, ‘I say this to you who are listening carefully to me. Love the people who want to hurt you. Do good things to people that hate you. Say good things to people that say bad things against you. Pray for people who give you pain.’” (Is this who we are becoming? Help us, O Lord!)

Today’s Bible Byte (plus)- Monday, June 22. 2 Kings 22:13, EASY- “He told them, ‘Go to the temple. Ask the Lord about the message in this book that Hilkiah has found. I need to know what I should do, as well as all the people of Judah. The Lord has become very angry with us because our ancestors have not obeyed the words in this book. They have not done the things that it tells us we should do.’” (Another great lesson from history for today!)

Today’s Bible Byte (plus). Sunday, June 21.

Today’s Bible Byte (plus). Saturday, June 20. Psalm 90:17, EASY- “Yes, may the Lord our God bless us. May everything that we do have success. Yes, may everything go well!” (…and to this 3,000 year old prayer, we say “AMEN!”)

Today’s Bible Byte (plus)- Friday, June 19. Psalm 90:14, EASY- “Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives.”

Today’s Bible Byte (plus). Thursday, June 18- 2 Kings 17:15, EASY- They did not obey God's rules. They did not accept the covenant that he had made with their ancestors. They did not listen when he warned them. Instead, they worshipped useless idols, which caused them to become useless themselves. The Lord had commanded them not to live in the same way that the nations around them did. But they did that anyway. (O, may we learn from those before us!)

Today’s Bible Byte (plus)- Wednesday, June 17. 2 Kings 15:3-4, EASY “Azariah did things that the Lord said were good, as his father Amaziah had done. But he did not remove the altars on the hills. The people continued to offer sacrifices and to burn incense on those altars.” (Several of Judah’s kings did good, “BUT”. Lord, us learn from these stories. AMEN!)

Today’s Bible Byte (plus)- Tuesday, June 16. Psalm 89:1. EASY- “I will always sing about the Lord's faithful love. I will tell my children and my grandchildren that you are always faithful.” (Help me, Lord to keep those words as promises to you!)

Today’s Bible Byte (plus)- Monday, June 15. 2 Kings 6:17, EASY- “Then Elisha prayed, ‘Lord, please open my servant's eyes so that he can see clearly.’ The Lord opened the servant's eyes. Now he could see lots of horses and chariots that burned with fire. They were on the hill all around Elisha.” (O LORD, please open our eyes!)

Today’s Bible Byte (plus)- Sunday, June 14. Psalm 86:15, EASY- But you, my Lord, are a kind God who forgives people. You do not quickly become angry, and your faithful love is very great. We can always trust you to do what you have promised.
(Yes, may we always trust You, Lord!)
