The majority of Messianics along with various other observant groups will join along with Judaism by following the Pharisee's calendar by celebrating the Feast of Weeks or Shavuot today. Of course, scripturally, the majority has never been right. At The Star in the East, we believe the Sadducean calendar preserves the Torah's intent, the integrity of counting the 50 days following the weekly Sabbath instead of the day after Passover, and the prophetic fulfillment in Messiah Yeshua.
