My granddaughter, Jaime Rae Riecks, has been a volunteer leader with the non-profit ministry, Young Life, for five years and is now taking the step into full time ministry on staff with Young Life. Much like a church, their resources come from monthly or annual donors’ financial support. She has been tasked to raise $25,000 in pledged monthly or annual donations by her start date of August 1st. Our next Open House event is this Saturday, October 27, from 11:00am to 2:00pm. We will host a giveaway and picnic lunch at our second transition home located at 2339 22nd Street NE, Canton. All are welcome!

Our next Mobile Ministry outreach event will be on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11, at the Timken High School Campus in downtown Canton. We will be freely distributing clothing and housewares to all attending a free movie at that time. To volunteer for this event, please call 330-237-6778 and leave a message.

SCAM ALERT! MWCO does NOT solicit monetary donations door-to-door! There has been instances of individuals posing as MWCO representatives and collecting cash donations. If you are approached, or have given a donation, please contact your local law enforcement fraud unit as soon as possible to report.

There is still time to register for our Vacation Bible School on July 28 - 30 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the Massillon Walnut Hills neighborhood! Children will attend on Thursday and Friday and then the whole family will be invited on Saturday to a "fiesta" celebration with food, games, and fun!

A little rain and clouds did not dampen the enthusiasm for the MWCO mobile outreach on Saturday, May 21.
