The Board of Directors of the Friends of Vienna welcomes you to our 49th season. Please note that the concert starting time has changed. All concerts will now begin at 3:00 pm on Sunday afternoons at our usual venue, the Unity Church, 1243 Delaware Ave, Buffalo, NY. Parking is free and all parking spots behind the church are available for your use on Sundays! Overflow parking is available next door, behind the Gromo Sinus Center.
Sunday September 7 - Fredonia Professor of Cello, Natasha Farny and Fr. Sean Duggan, Fredonia Associate Professor of piano and Bach authority are featured in a recital program of masterworks for cello and piano.
Sunday September 28 - - A frequent guest artist on The FOV Series, Susan Yondt, Professor of Piano at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Stockholm, presents a solo recital highlighting the German romantics, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms.
Sunday October 26 - Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra Violinist, Loren Silvertrust returns to the FOV series, joined by BPO Cellist, Amelie Fradette and Pianist, Susan Schuman for a program which includes works by Ravel, Glière and Tchaikovsky, among others.
Sunday March 15 – The FOV is pleased to welcome back the Tempus Fugit trio, featuring Clarinetist, Michael Tumiel, Violinist, Shannon Reilly, and Pianist, Michael Serio.
Sunday April 19 – Buffalo Pianist, Claudia Hoca, who has appeared often on our series, will be joined by BPO Violinist, Amy Licata.
Sunday May 10 – Rochester Philharmonic Oboist, Megan Kyle, and Composer and pianist, Michael McNeil.
Individual ticket prices are $20. Season tickets are just $80, a savings of more than 30% over the individual admission prices.
