Happy 70th Birthday, Father Mark!

This Sunday, we give thanks to God for the life and vocation of Fr. Mark Kreis as he celebrates his 70th birthday this coming Thursday, April 16th. Be sure to wish him a happy and blessed birthday when you see him.

Born on April 16, 1956 in Krosno, Poland, and ordained in 1987 in Częstochowa as a Pauline Father, Fr. Mark has served the Church in many places around the world. He holds a PhD in Biblical Theology, and anyone who has heard him teach knows his deep love for Sacred Scripture—and his desire to share every detail.

Here at Corpus Christi, Father Mark is a familiar and faithful presence at daily and Sunday Mass, and each Wednesday at 6:30 PM in the Kolbe Center, where he leads his Bible study for all ages, passing along a lifetime of knowledge.

While Corpus Christi has always been his home, he has also generously assisted throughout the East Buffalo Family of Parishes.

Join Open Doors Ministry this Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Saint Bernadette Parish for a Sensory-Friendly Easter Mass at 3:00 pm. The Mass offers a shorter, less crowded worship setting allowing people to move freely as needed. The lighting will be dimmer, the music soothing and low gluten hosts will be available. Light refreshments will be served after Mass in the accessible Parish Ministry Center.
