The Interfaith Climate Justice Community (ICJC) asked WNY faith communities to sign on to a petition to hand over the Outer Harbor to the State Park system. It is currently under the direction of the Erie County Development Corporation which is developing an 8000 seat Amphitheater there. Turning the property over to the State Park System would preserve not only the natural beauty for all but also its mitigating effects with regards to climate change. Friends agreed to sign the petition as a meeting at our March business meeting.

9,141 signatures are still needed! Designate Buffalo’s Outer Harbor on Lake Erie Coast as Parkland
