First UMC Buckhannon invites the community to our monthly Micah Meal. If you are affected by the flooding or just need a free meal, come on by. The meal will begin around noon as our worship service concludes. All are welcome to join us for worship at 10:40am as well!

There will be baskets on the tables at the meal if you would like to make an optional donation that benefits the Parish House. This month’s meal was already designated to go to The Parish House for the backpack program; however, in light of this week’s events, it will be given for their Greatest Need Fund to best serve our community.

We hope to see you there for a good meal and fellowship!

FUMC is praying for our community in the midst of these summer storms! God of all creation, through Noah, you saved all humanity during the Great Flood. Keep us safe too. May we here in our community help our neighbor. May we make safe choices, and may we receive the help and assistance you give. For all God’s people, we pray. Amen.
