Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. The 40 days leading up to Jesus Resurrection (Easter). This is a time used to show repentance and self-reflection for many Christians. You may see individuals with ashes marked across their foreheads as a sign of this repentance and preparation for Easter.

We are back with a lot of exciting things happening this week! Last week was tough for all of us so let's all get our minds right and ready to tackle the semester with some great events happening this week!

Hanging of the Greens is an opportunity for the
Wesleyan community to come together to decorate
Wesley Chapel with evergreens during the season
of Advent. Greek Life, under the direction of John
Bohman, will work in collaboration with the Office
of Religious and Spiritual Life to create and
decorate wreathes in addition to hanging artificial
garlands in Wesley Chapel. We will meet in the
Event Room of Jenkins Wellness Center to
assemble the wreaths beginning at 3 PM, then
move to Wesley Chapel to hang garland along the
balcony.

Join us for some pumpkin carving fun Tomorrow at Timeout Tuesday! Will be located in the social hall. Costumes are optional.
