But other times, like right now, we have no concerns. Joan Ferguson has gone home to be with her Lord for eternity. Her service will be held at Good News Church at 12:30 on Saturday, September 5th.

Life Groups are coming! 🙌

On September 28th, we’re kicking off a new season of Life Groups—and I couldn’t be more excited about what God is going to do.

Church was never meant to be something we simply attend. We’re called to do life together—to be known, encouraged, challenged, prayed for, and reminded that we’re not walking this journey alone.

Life Groups are where Sunday becomes Monday. Where friendships grow deeper. Where faith gets real. Where we can laugh together, carry one another’s burdens, open God’s Word, and take our next steps with Jesus.

My prayer is that every person in our church would find a place where they can belong, grow, and become all God has called them to be.

So mark your calendar: Life Groups start September 28th!

Don’t just sit in the crowd—find your people. ❤️

What an unforgettable finish to our mission trip to Mexico! As our final days at La Esperanza came to a close, we wrapped up all of our projects—from drywalling classrooms to putting the finishing touches on painted fences and murals. We celebrated everything God accomplished through our team by sharing ice cream, making s'mores, and joining together around the campfire for prayers and communion.

After saying our bittersweet goodbyes, we began the journey home with heavy yet incredibly joyful hearts. Even after a four-hour wait in line at the border crossing, we made it back home to Denver safely!

Thank you all so much for your continued prayers and support throughout this trip. It has been such a profound blessing to serve, and we pray that the love, labor, and hope shared over these days leave a lasting impact on the lives of the wonderful people of San Quintin.

If you’ve ever considered going on a mission trip yourself, jump at the chance! Stepping out in faith to serve God in this way is beyond fulfilling. Jesus called us to follow Him and become "fishers of men" (Matthew 4:19), and there is nothing quite like experiencing the Great Commission firsthand. God is truly at work!
