How Could A Good God Allow Evil, Pain, and Suffering?
"Why God, why?!" When we experience something painful or tragic we wonder why God allows unjust and evil things to happen. Why doesn't he stop these things from happening? Maybe he's too weak to do anything? Pastor Matthew finishes the series with what might be the biggest question of all.

We gathered for our Year-End Celebration to honor all of our amazing Facilitators and Hosts who have faithfully opened their homes, led discussions, encouraged others, and helped build genuine community throughout the year.

What a wonderful evening celebrating our Life Groups and the incredible people who make them so special! We gathered for our Year-End Celebration to honor all of our amazing Facilitators and Hosts who have faithfully opened their homes, led discussions, encouraged others, and helped build genuine community throughout the year.

We enjoyed great food, lots of laughter, and a fun time together as we reflected on all God has done through our Life Groups this season.

A very special thank you to Edie, Mary Jobe, and Tess Hamilton for all the hard work behind the scenes that helped make the evening such a success. Your servant hearts, attention to detail, and joyful help were deeply appreciated by everyone.

Pastor John breaks down faith, works, or enlightenment as roads to God. Christianity emphasizes faith in Jesus, while Islam focuses on submission to Allah and good deeds. Hinduism and Buddhism prioritize breaking the cycle of rebirth through karma and enlightenment. And there are thousands more! Which one is right? Does just one have to be right? Or can any of these paths lead me to God?

On Sunday, May 17th, we are worshiping by serving our community in place of our normal worship services. Coffee and donuts at 8:45am followed by worship on the patio and serve projects in the neighborhood. At noon we will enjoy a BBQ picnic back at the church.
