📖 New Series: Character — Learn the Story. Live It Out.
This Sunday, we kicked off our new summer series, "Character", with a look at the life of Joshua and the powerful reminder that God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things.
Over the next 13 weeks, we'll explore both familiar and lesser-known biblical figures, discovering where they fit into God's larger story and how their lives can help shape our own character today.
One of Sunday's biggest takeaways came from Joshua 1:6-9, where God repeatedly tells Joshua, "Be strong and courageous." As Joshua stood facing an uncertain future, God pointed him to three things: His promises, His Word, and His presence.
The message reminded us that courage isn't the absence of fear—it's obedience in the middle of uncertainty. We often wait until we feel ready before taking the next step, but God frequently calls us forward before we feel prepared.
As Pastor Johnny shared, confidence often develops on the other side of obedience.
💪🏼 So the question we were left with is simple: What is your next courageous step of obedience?
As we journey through this series together, our prayer is that we don't just learn more about the Bible, but that we fall more deeply in love with God's story and allow it to shape the way we live.
