MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT | MEDIA 💻

Meet JESSICA PASECHNIKOV!
What ministry are you in and what do you do?
- I’m in media! I oversee all the social accounts and I edit all the videos that you see in church
How long have you been in ministry?
- Oh, man. It’s been about 12 years serving in media in general but here at GPC it’s coming up to a year.
What goes into media that most people don’t think of?
- I would say, probably the time that goes into it. I spend a lot of time sifting through footage, looking at inspirations, and thinking of fun new ways to keep people engaged. All while trying to keep everything aesthetic
Has serving in media impacted you in any way?
- Absolutely. Serving in media gives me the opportunity to actively be part of the church.
Media is so strongly rooted in teamwork, you learn to rely on each other to make it work. Also, everything that I personally do is behind the scenes. Sometimes it’s late nights and I feel His presence each time. Being able to capture the feeling of being inside the sanctuary and to be able to create that same feeling in a post to potentially plant a seed in someone else and inspire them to come to church for the first time, definitely leaves an impact.
Are you looking for more volunteers?
- Yes! Like I said before, media is so strongly rooted in teamwork. I’m always praying for a strong team.
