Leaving behind friends, family, and familiarity to plant a church in a city they had never been to. From humble beginnings meeting in hotels, school gymnasiums, performing arts centers (and at one point a hotel parking lot), Awaken Church has grown from being just a vision in Ps. Jurgen and Leanne’s hearts to now being a multi-campus and multi-generational church across multiple states. At Awaken

Church we are committed to presenting Jesus Christ in fresh, real and powerful way to our community. Awaken is a family-focused church with amazing worship, life-changing messages and programs for all ages! We believe it is vital that everyone who comes through our doors feel welcomed, connected with God, and connected with great people to do life with! We have many different avenues available for you to join: Connect Groups, DNA Course, Volunteer teams, etc. We want to create ample opportunities for you to build incredible friendships as well as help you flourish in your relationship with God!

Some Sundays you look around and realize you’re standing in prayers you prayed a long time ago😭❤️‍🔥

We celebrated miracles we’ve been believing for, watched dreams become reality, worshipped together, and saw people step into the water and come up ALL THINGS NEW🌊🙌

There are prayers represented in these photos that were prayed over and over before we ever saw the answer. And then suddenly, there it is.

God is moving in Boise. Lives are changing. Prayers are being answered. Dreams are coming true. And we get a front row seat to all of it.

Today we watched people go under the water and come up declaring that Jesus has changed everything.

Old things have passed away. New life has begun. And Heaven is celebrating every single YES to Jesus. 🙌
