What an incredible weekend at Covenant! 🌟 17 young adults united at the Boise Hawks Game on Friday evening, and then 20 individuals gathered for a gardening class at Zamzows to nurture Christian connections. At the same time, over 15 compassionate servants showed up to a home in Star to help Anne paint her home, demonstrating God's love in action. With so many programs happening to inspire Christian service and community, remember that YOU have a purpose at Covenant, where Christ's love and kindness abound! ❤️

Miracles can happen in the most unexpected ways!

This morning, we arrived to a decades-old kitchen refrigerator that had given up on us... agai️n. But instead of getting bogged down, our amazing capital campaign committee saw an opportunity to turn a setback into a blessing! They sprang into action and purchased a brand new refrigerator, thanks to the incredible teamwork of Alex Wolff, Lisa and Wayne Snodgrass, Tracy Sauerwein, Bill Martin, Jason Byers, Jim Brostmeyer, and Sam Parkins. And by 2:30pm, the first piece of our remodel was complete! We're reminded that even in the unexpected, God is always at work, bringing new life and new possibilities!

Join us this Sunday as we kick-off an 8‑week summer sermon series on the Book of Revelation, where Christ’s victory shines with unshakable hope. Together we’ll explore this book not as a puzzle to decode, but as a pastoral word that anchors God’s people in His sovereign grace. Come be strengthened in faith as we behold the Lamb who reigns and learn what it means to live faithfully in light of His promised renewal of all things.

This week, 16 young change-makers are coming together to ignite positive change in our community, inspired by the values of Christian faith and service. Under the banner of Christ, they're rolling up their sleeves at the Meridian Co-op Community Gardens, Idaho Food Bank, Idaho Humane Society, and our neighborhood, learning and growing as they go. 💪🌟 A huge thank you to our incredible Faith and Service Camp Leaders, Tricia Poppy and Chrissy Starcher, for pouring their hearts into our students. We're grateful for your tireless efforts to empower the next generation of leaders. And a special shoutout to Sandy Davis for driving and mentoring, and Larry Conly for capturing the magic behind the lens. 🙏

Check out the progress on the construction of the Womens Development Center in Maji. God does amazing things when His children work together. Here is our mission partner Caroline's note about the progress:

Friends, I hope you're weathering the stress of our times. I hope you are surrounded with a loving community. We are seeing gas prices climb. Ethiopia didn't have the reserves we have, and the country was hit with shortages almost immediately. Diesel is being rationed for transport of food and essential goods. One truck, carrying materials to plaster the exterior of the women's development center, got through just as the war began. Workers are plastering, and waiting until windows, doors, plumbing supplies can be bought and trucked down to Maji (500 miles from the capital).

Pray for peace!

Love and gratitude to all, for your faithfulness.
