What a beautiful blessing to welcome our Assistant Superintendent, Mrs. O’Loughlin, to our Saint Jude home!

Mrs. O’Loughlin joined us to celebrate liturgy with our school community and then took time to enjoy the beauty of our campus and, most importantly, the wonderful people who make Saint Jude so special - our dedicated staff and joy-filled students. We are grateful for her presence, her support, and the opportunity to share a little piece of our Saint Jude family with her. There is truly something special about gathering together in faith, celebrating our Catholic identity , and enjoying the gift of community. Thank you Mrs. O’Loughlin for your visit! ✨

This week, our Kindergarten friends became Five Senses Detectives! They put their senses to the test as they explored mystery bags using their sense of touch, embarked on an outdoor scavenger hunt using the gift of sight, tested a variety of scents with their sense of smell, and used their listening ears to identify mysterious sounds.

What a fun-filled week of exploring, discovering, and learning about the amazing senses God has given us! 🎉

As we move into the month of September, our incredible faculty and staff gathered together to reflect, collaborate, and prepare for the journey ahead. From reviewing our present mission statement and accreditation goals to discussing the many important “bits and pieces” that help make the start of a school year successful, it was a meaningful time of connection and purpose.

We are grateful for this outstanding group of educators who bring their talents, dedication, faith, and love for our students into our school each and every day. Together, we remain committed to growing, learning, and providing the very best educational and faith-filled experience for every child entrusted to our care.

The value of having our Safety Officers on campus goes far beyond providing security. Each day, they take the time to get to know our students—from PK through 8th grade—building meaningful relationships and becoming familiar, trusted faces throughout our school community.

Their presence provides reassurance to our students, families, faculty, and staff, knowing they are here not only to help keep our campus safe, but also to guide, support, and protect. We are grateful for their commitment to Saint Jude Catholic School and for the care they show our students each and every day.

Our 7th Grade Social Studies students are putting their citizenship knowledge into action as they work together on their Citizenship Almanac Project! 🇺🇸
Through collaboration, teamwork, and shared ideas, our students are learning that great things can be accomplished when everyone contributes. We are proud of their hard work, creativity, and commitment to learning together!. Thank you Ms. DeColli.

It’s volleyball time! The season has started and our first game is next week. Special thanks to our coaches - Coach Pacheco (JV) and Coach Curtis (V) - two of the BEST! Don’t forget - the goal is always to grow and have fun. (Well, we do like to win also!) Teamwork! Go SAINTS! 🏐♥️

Our 5th grade students did an awesome job putting the Engineering Design Process into action with an exciting Paper Table Challenge! Working in teams, students planned, designed, built, and tested a paper table that could hold at least one notebook.
The challenge included several constraints: students could use only 10 pieces of newspaper and one roll of tape, their table had to be at least 15 cm tall, and they had just 45 minutes to complete the task. Through teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration, our young engineers successfully met the challenge. It was wonderful to see them share ideas, make improvements, and work together to turn simple materials into strong and creative designs. Way to go, 5th grade engineers! Shine On, Saints!
