Welcome to our Sunday Worship service at Church on the Hill/UCC Boca Raton, LIVE at 10:00 a.m.

Today, our guest speaker is Rev. Mamie Murphy, a friend of our church. She will be speaking regarding the scripture from Matthew 5:1-12.

Today we are commemorating All Saints Sunday. Each congregant and visitor who wishes may light a candle in honor and memory of loved ones and mention their names.

Michael Ursua is our musical accompanist.
Daniella Restrepo returns today as our soloist and worship song leader! Her solo is, "O Christ, Surround Me (God Be the Love)."

Good evening, all! On 10-22-2026, Boca's Church on the Hill's BCEO was at Caribbean Grill Cuban Restaurant, in Coconut Creek where the Publix is on Hillsboro and Lyons (Southwest corner).

Here, the waitress was too busy so we decided two pictures. One taken by Francisco with Dick Randall in it, and the other taken by Dick with Francisco in it!

Faye, Amy, Lois, Sarah, Richard, Bob, and Francisco were there this evening.

The food was very good. Francisco had never had a dish before that his former supervisor used to rave about. And that was Rabo Encendido. (It's ox tail but the literal translation of the dish's name is Tail Lit on Fire.) It's not spicy at all. But that is the name. He liked it very much for it being the first time having it.

BCEO was at la Condesa mexican restaurant on Airport Rd. this evening. The food was delicious and the company was fun. Faye, Francisco, Bob Murphy, Richard Randall, and Bob, and Amy were there.

Not a big crowd but still fun!

Pastor Appreciation Month at Church on the Hill:

Our congregation honored our Pastor Tom Lacey, and his wife Marit, after our Communion worship service on Sunday October 11, 2026. We presented him with a cake, which was shared, and kind words about Pastor Tom's 30 years with our church, were presented by long-time Deacon John Fenner.
