Boca Beach Chabad Jewish Center Boca Beach Chabad Jewish Center is the only Synagogue east of Federal Highway in the heart of Boca Raton, FL. Palmetto Park Road.

In 2024, Boca Beach Chabad ushered in a new era with the purchase of a new home at the corner of Palmetto Park Road and 5th Avenue, located at 490 E. The center has been renamed Boca Beach Chabad Jewish Center, marking a significant step forward for the Jewish community in East Boca.



Chabad’s presence in Boca Raton began in 1989 with centers in Central and West Boca. Recognizing

the growing Jewish community in East Boca, Chabad appointed Rabbi Ruvi and Ahuva New to open a branch in East Boca in September 1999. Boca Beach Chabad Jewish Center is the only synagogue east of Federal Highway; and offers a wide variety of programs and services, with a focus on adult education and community engagement, including:

Coffee and Kabbalah on Sunday mornings at 10 AM
Torah and Tea for Women on Tuesdays at 10 AM
Lunch and Learn on Thursdays at noon
JLI Courses (Jewish Learning Institute)
Women of Valor events
Shabbatons throughout the year
Rabbi New's Daily Dose of Torah podcast

In addition to adult education, Boca Beach Chabad is home to the Chabad Hebrew School, where children receive a strong foundation in Jewish education, providing a unique and enriching experience for young teens. The center is also excited to introduce the Jewish Center of the Arts (JCOTA), a space for artistic expression and Jewish cultural programming. Soul Trek Part 2 ✨

Our Soul Trek 5786 trip began with song and dance at JFK and continued through some of the most meaningful places connected to the Rebbe.

But this wasn’t simply a journey through places.

It was a journey toward the soul, where we reflected on who we are, who we can become, and how to bring that inspiration into everyday life. ✨

A JOURNEY TO SEE. A JOURNEY TO BE SEEN. ✨

This week, our community embarked on a Soul Trek—a journey to connect more deeply with the Rebbe, and ultimately, with ourselves.

From dancing proudly as Jews at JFK, to praying at the Ohel, reflecting in the Rebbe’s room, experiencing the energy of 770, and visiting his home, every stop brought a deeper connection.

The day ended with a hachlatah—one meaningful mitzvah or good deed to carry the inspiration home. ♥️

We arrived dancing.
We left dancing.
But we left seeing ourselves differently.

I’ll never forget standing there for the Rebbe’s tekiyos.

The room went quiet in a way it didn’t for anything else all year. Thousands of people holding their breath together, waiting. Then the Rebbe’s powerful voice, singing the brachos before the shofar sounded. You could feel the awesomeness of that moment, the power of the day and everything it would draw down for the coming year.

I searched for years for a recording of the way the Rebbe sang those words and couldn’t find it anywhere. So this year, I recreated it myself.

It’s now part of my new album, The Songs and Prayers of Rosh Hashanah — a new way to prepare for Rosh Hashanah, to step into that feeling of holiness and joy before you even walk into shul.
