A little recap of our first Bat Mitzvah Club gathering:
The girls started off the lesson with a fun little get-to-know-you game using their baby pictures 👶🏼, and by the end of it felt like they’d known eachother forever! 🥰
We learned about our Jewish birthdays — what makes them different from our regular birthdays, how our birthday marks the day Hashem brought our Neshama into the world 🌍 , and what that means. We also discussed why a Bat Mitzvah is such an extra-special birthday 🎂: it marks the beginning of a new stage in which a girl becomes personally responsible for her mitzvot. ✨
