Welcome to the American Hellenic Educational Philanthropic Association Boca Raton, FL Chapter 487

By joining the AHEPA Boca Raton Chapter 487 you become part of an organization that promotes Hellenism, Education, Philanthropy, Civic Responsibility, and Family and Individual Excellence. The American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) is one of the largest Hellenic heritage groups in the world and is a major community service organization in North America. Included in the AHEPA Family are the Daughters of Penelope; the Sons of Pericles (the junior order of AHEPA); and the Maids of Athena (the junior order of the Daughters of Penelope). While founded in the United States in 1922, the AHEPA organization has branched out to include chapters throughout Canada, Greece, Cyprus, New Zealand and Australia.

Our Chapter for many years participated in the St. Jude Walk to help raise money for this worthy cause. Many fine AHEPANS devoted a lot of time and energy to help Children’s Families in need of support.

We will discuss at our November 5th Dinner Meeting, we hope you will consider a donation.

On behalf of the District Governor Homer Zambigadis and the AHEPA Citrus District 2 Florida, Bahamas, and Puerto Rico we ask that your Chapter and you personally make a contribution to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

We are being asked to aggregate all donations to send to Order of AHEPA National Offices in Washington, DC. On November 24 and we are asking all donations to be made by November 20.

If you, a loved one or someone in your circle has had a child in need of care, this is a great organization providing support at no cost to the families.
