Our Vision
The vision of AGAPE is to provide guidance and help to those in need. Based on a needs assessment completed on an individual and confidential basis, services may include counseling, education, supplementary disaster relief, evangelism, fellowship, financial aid, nourishment, and supplying household or other material necessities. AGAPE will also serve as a conduit for information and re
ferrals to other existing private and public community agencies, if appropriate. Our Code of Conduct
The Bible—Principle 1
We believe the Bible is the eternal, infallible, inerrant Word of God and is the Alpha and Omega for everything we say and do. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Staff and Volunteers—Principle 2
Our staff and volunteers are our most important resource and our means of building client relationships to meet needs with practical solutions which spiritually transform individuals and our communities. The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28
Clients—Principle 3
Our clients are all whom Jesus calls us to serve. Knowing our clients, not just knowing about them, and meeting their expressed, unexpressed, and unknown needs with compassion, confidentiality and discipline is essential to achieving our vision. So in everything, do unto others what you would have them do unto you . . . . Matthew 7:12
