AGAPE Love From Above To Our Community

AGAPE Love From Above To Our Community AGAPE is a non-denominational, faith-based mission to serve the people in our area.

Our Vision

The vision of AGAPE is to provide guidance and help to those in need. Based on a needs assessment completed on an individual and confidential basis, services may include counseling, education, supplementary disaster relief, evangelism, fellowship, financial aid, nourishment, and supplying household or other material necessities. AGAPE will also serve as a conduit for information and re

ferrals to other existing private and public community agencies, if appropriate. Our Code of Conduct

The Bible—Principle 1
We believe the Bible is the eternal, infallible, inerrant Word of God and is the Alpha and Omega for everything we say and do. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Staff and Volunteers—Principle 2
Our staff and volunteers are our most important resource and our means of building client relationships to meet needs with practical solutions which spiritually transform individuals and our communities. The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:28
Clients—Principle 3
Our clients are all whom Jesus calls us to serve. Knowing our clients, not just knowing about them, and meeting their expressed, unexpressed, and unknown needs with compassion, confidentiality and discipline is essential to achieving our vision. So in everything, do unto others what you would have them do unto you . . . . Matthew 7:12

Our Guide

35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Matthew 25:35-36

A safe, comfortable home can make a meaningful difference after a crisis.

Through Joseph’s Storehouse, AGAPE provides new and gently used household items at no cost to neighbors who are setting up a home after hardship. Available items may include beds, mattresses, bedding, furniture, appliances, tableware, pots, pans, and other household essentials.

Thanks to community generosity and partnerships with national retailers, AGAPE is able to collect and store these items, so support is ready when it’s needed most.

Today is National Start Over Day. 💜

At AGAPE, we meet people in all seasons of life, including moments where they are trying to rebuild, recover, or simply take the next step forward.

A fresh start can look different for everyone:
A safe meal.
A place to turn.
A second chance.
A community that cares.

No matter where someone’s story begins, hope is always possible.

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” - Isaiah 43:18-19

Meet the AGAPE Family 💜

Lucas is a valued part of the AGAPE team, bringing a powerful story of resilience and a true “never-quit” spirit. Having worked hard to build a better life, he is passionate about growth, transformation, and encouraging others along the way.

Outside of AGAPE, Lucas finds peace in nature — hiking, foraging, and creating meals from scratch at home. Whether on the trail or in the kitchen, he embraces each season of life with gratitude and purpose.

We’re grateful for the strength, perspective, and heart Lucas brings to AGAPE every day.

At AGAPE, our mission, values, and communication with the community are very
important to us.
We want to clarify that any official organizational statements, collaborations, initiatives,
or updates related to AGAPE will always come directly from AGAPE’s official
communication channels and leadership team.
We are deeply grateful for the nonprofits, churches, volunteers, and community partners
who walk alongside us in this work. Those relationships mean everything to us. But we
want our community — the people we serve, the organizations we work with, and the
supporters who make it all possible — to always know where to find the real us. When
in doubt, come to us directly - we will be here!
To avoid confusion, we encourage community members to rely on AGAPE’s official
social media pages and leadership team for accurate organizational information.
As always, our focus remains on serving individuals and families throughout our
community with compassion, dignity, and care.
Thank you for your continued support of AGAPE and the work we do together every
day.
