Please accept my sincerest apologies and the lack of communication for this evening's canceled PCM. Last evening while coming back from my classes in Lancaster at around 10:30 in the middle of nowhere in the pouring rain I had a flat tire. It would be well after 1am until I was able to drive on a donut near the Lancaster area and find a place to settle until 7am. It was a cold wet long night. Then today, I found out that I ended up needing to get all new tires but that meant waiting to after 10 am to get things underway. I got home later this afternoon after no sleep and having to cancel and rebook several things scheduled for the day. I am not sure what happened with the communication but know that many had not received the message. I ask for your grace as this was a very long 36 plus and hours and I am afraid I let many down today. I will make sure this handled better if it should happen again, which I reaaaallllly hope it doesn't. Again, please accept my apologies. This just happened to be my frustrating stream of events. Sadly, my unfortunate events made some of your events frustrating. And that bothered me most of all.

I'm "busy". We are all "busy". But my "busy" is because I want to stop for you. I hear this a lot: "God doesn't call the equipped; He equips the called." So understand this... I'm not so much "busy" as I am "equippy". Part of my "equippy" is sharing.

In the Bible there is a letter the Apostle Paul penned a letter to Rome. He tells them that God already put himself in our hearts. So we all have him there, we just need to fill our longing to Him.

That means... we need to stop looking for something else that will never make us satisfied. It's like craving a filet mignon and eating a burger, chicken...or potato chips! We never ever get what we crave.

The world tells you have to reject Him because His people are bad mixed up people, or His requirements are too tough to follow, or we need to explore and accept other things, or "half truths" (which are dressed up lies), or believe only in yourself...and the list goes on. They also use his Scripture as sound bytes to justify political and personal agendas. But you still walk away with away with a grrrr in your heart, knowing something is not quite right!

Stop listening to the world. Listen to your heart. Be free and open a Bible, known as the Word of God, the Truth. And know that I am here to get equippy with you!! Prepare to have your mind blown, because you will be surprised how the world gets it wrong, because it has its own agenda.

Call me, text me.....If I can't answer your questions, we will find it together. This is the love of my life. And sharing it is not only what I'm called to do, but when you got a good thing you want to share it! I'm never ever too "busy". Just awesomely equippy!

You don't have to be happy or positive all the time. But joy is both the flicker and the flame.

Joy.
Always leaning.
Abiding in love for life in God.
Greeting the call to love others.
Living by the commandments given.
Listening and answering the voice of Jesus.
In tears of sadness, relying on the strength and hope of God.
In disappointment and frustration, trusting in the gift of faith.
Though the the storm, resting on the peace of Christ.
Walking in mercy, kindness, and justice.
Filled with the Spirit, responding in grace, forgiveness, and patience.
Being thankful and living in gratitude.
Always leaning.

Everyone is struggling thinking how to help others. If you want to help and are nervous about writing a check or giving your credit card #, I have a great way in which you can help those devastated by the tornados in Louisiana. Our Mission Central in Mechanicsburg supports the United Methodist Core of Relief, and they need health kits. You can collect these items and deliver to our Pastors residence church's care at Trinity UMC of Espy at 2351 Old Berwick Road in Bloomsburg PA. Our phone is 570-387-0677.
1. Any size comb (including picks and pocket size)
2. METAL nail files or clippers (no emory boards as they mold)
3. Bath size soap 2.5 oz or LARGER (No Ivory, Jergens or Lisa brands as they break down or mold)
4. Tooth brush any size factory packaged sealed (think sanitary!)
5. Adhesive band aids 6 3/4 to 1 inch width (prefer common household as others break down)
6. Plastic bags gallon sized (sandwich will not fit it all!)
Message us with any questions. This is safe and secure. organization. This is a wonderful way to help others and feel confident that it will get to those in need.
