This advice shapes how the Send Relief Ashland team serves people facing homelessness, addiction, poverty, and crisis. By listening well and loving faithfully, the team builds relationships that open doors for gospel conversations and lasting hope.

Rob’s team wants every person they encounter to know they are seen, valued, and loved by Christ.

🙏 Pray for the Send Relief Ashland team as they minister to hurting people each day. Pray God would use every conversation, relationship, and act of compassion to point people to Jesus.

Carolyn Fountain was elected the 25th president of WMU, SBC during the WMU Missions Celebration and Annual Meeting on June 7, 2026 in Orlando, Florida.

A native of Tallulah, Louisiana, she and her husband of 48 years, Leroy, are members of the Well of Monroe, a church plant of First Baptist Church of West Monroe, Louisiana. Together they serve churches in Northwest Louisiana by helping pastors of church plants and revitalizations incorporate missions into their strategy for church health.

Carolyn also works with the Women’s Learning Center (CWJC), a ministry of the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home and Family Services in Monroe, Louisiana, where she tutors women in reading and writing as they strive to achieve their HiSet (GED).

Pray for our missionaries of the week, Joe and Laura Pantaleo.

Joe and Laura always believed they’d be missionaries—but every time they tried to go, God closed the door. Instead, He prepared them at home.

In Virginia, they began ministering to one of the largest Central Asian populations in the United States, building friendships with refugees and other internationals. “Every week Joe and I went to one family’s home and shared the entirety of the gospel,” Laura said.

Joe, a former youth pastor, led short-term missions trips while their children grew up immersed in ministry. Eventually, each of their sons asked whether the whole family could become missionaries. That’s when they knew—it was time.

Now recently appointed IMB missionaries, the Pantaleos are headed to Malta to minister to students and young families in a culture shaped more by superstition than saving faith.

PRAY for fruitful ministry in Malta and for open hearts among the students and families the Pantaleos serve.
