“Dolly managed to make so many people feel welcomed and seen, and barely any of them actually met her, much less knew her. We should strive to live lives like Dolly, creating a space where people feel welcomed and respected immediately. Sure, we don’t have the reach she did or the fame; but we have who we are, and like Dolly constantly reminded us, that is good enough.”
