As Christians, our goal isn’t just to win arguments.

It’s not about proving people wrong, crushing opponents, or collecting the right facts so we can feel superior.

Truth matters. Convictions matter.
But so does compassion.

We’re called to hold our beliefs with strength and grace.
To be anchored in truth while still loving people deeply.

Because the way we carry our convictions should make people stop and wonder:

“What is different about them?”

Not because we were loud.
Not because we “won.”
But because we reflected Jesus.

Strong convictions.
Soft hearts.
That’s the way of Jesus.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend—it’s a moment to pause with gratitude for the sacrifice, courage, and selflessness of those who laid down their lives for others.

As we gather with family and friends today, may we never forget the cost of freedom and the families who continue to carry that sacrifice every day.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

We are so excited about this next season of ministry at Mountaintop Middle! 🎉

This past Sunday, we officially announced the hiring of Garrett Brady as our new Middle School Director in both our Middle School and adult services.

Garrett recently graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry, and he has a deep passion for helping middle school students grow in their faith during such a pivotal season of life.

He brings valuable experience through internships with local churches and several years of serving with Young Life. Garrett and his fiancée, Elaina, will also be getting married on May 30, and he’ll officially join our Student Team in mid-June.

We’re incredibly excited for our students and families to get to know Garrett and can’t wait to see the impact he’ll have in the lives of our middle schoolers. Help us welcome him to the Mountaintop family! 🙌
