Serving begins with being willing to say yes.

Sometimes the call to serve comes through a friend asking us to pray about stepping in. Other times, it’s a prompting from the Lord that we can’t ignore. However it comes, the question is the same: will we be willing to say yes?

For Larry Latimer, his “yes” meant joining our Ministry of Construction Prayer Team after a friend encouraged him to pray about serving. What began with a simple yes has become an opportunity to grow in his faith, connect more deeply with the church, and share the hope of the gospel with others.

God has given each of us opportunities and gifts to serve and be part of what He is doing. Visit firstbelton.org/serve to learn more and get involved!

Happy National Dog Day to two very special members of the First Belton family! 🐾

Leia and Gus are certified therapy dogs who serve throughout our ministries and in our community. Their presence helps provide comfort, support, and a calming presence to those around them. Be sure to give them a little extra love when you see them around church! 💛

Over the summer, some of our church members had the opportunity to serve alongside our ministry partners at Kishinev Bible Church in Moldova. Our teams were able to witness firsthand how God is working through local churches to reach their communities with the gospel!

This is just a glimpse of what God is doing through the church in Moldova—and why we continue to go, serve, and partner with them year after year.

Pray with us for the continued work of the gospel in Moldova, and begin asking God if He might be calling you to go on mission next year! 🇲🇩

God is faithful through every season.

After years of loss, waiting, and wrestling with hard questions, Corbin and Lexie Tidwell saw God reshape their understanding of who He is and open their hearts to foster care and adoption.

Their story reminds us that God’s goodness isn’t dependent on our circumstances. Trusting Him means holding fast to who He is through the waiting, the questions, and the seasons we never expected. “He sits with us, and He hears us, and He doesn’t rush us through our healing.”

We’re thankful for the Tidwells' willingness to share their story and for all the families in our community who are faithfully opening their homes and saying “yes” to foster care 💛
