Lead-Hers in Faith Begins June 14
Throughout scripture and church history, faithful women have often been overlooked, even as they answered God's call with courage, wisdom, and conviction.
Beginning June 14, join us for Lead-Hers in Faith, a worship series exploring the lives and lessons of women whose leadership continues to shape the Church today.
We look forward to learning from their stories together

What a joyful Annual Conference! 🎉

St. John’s was well represented as we gathered with United Methodists from across the Louisiana Conference of The United Methodist Church under this year’s theme, JOY. Natalie Cooper, our lay delegate, shared a presentation on Lay Servant Ministries, Pastor Lane participated in the LGBTQIA+ Ministry Team report, and Stephanie Rockco served as a delegate from the Southeast District, The Louisiana Conference, The United Methodist Church.

It was also a JOY to connect with some of the clergy, laity, and friends who call St. John’s home and to celebrate the 70th anniversary of women receiving full clergy rights in The Methodist Church.

We’re grateful for all who represented St. John’s and for the opportunity to worship, learn, and serve together. 💙
