🎀 BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🎀

This October, we’re coming together as women for a special morning of service, education, and friendship in partnership with Pink Divas & Gents!

Pink Divas & Gents is dedicated to providing resources, education, and support to individuals and families affected by breast cancer, especially in underserved communities. Their mission is to increase awareness, inspire hope, and create a community where no one has to face breast cancer alone. 💗

We’re excited to join them in making a difference through service and connection!

🕙 10 AM–Noon
🍴 Light lunch will be provided.
👩‍🦰 All young women and women ages 11 and up are invited!

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me. (John 14:6).

"Being raised in a different Christian religion, I had the opportunity to know about and believe in God; since I was young, my parents and family taught me to have faith and pray to God for a life full of blessings.

"This verse (John 14:6) has become my foundation now, and joining the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has given me a better understanding of my mission here on earth and of my salvation plan. God loves me so much that He created the right pathway for me; I’m pretty sure that He has done the same for you too.

"I had the opportunity to meet my husband after my family moved to the United States. He has been a member for many years and is how I started to know about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but my deepest interest began when our son got baptized on his 15th birthday.

"I don’t have the words to say how amazed and thankful I am for my son being my inspiration. Seeing him decide to follow Jesus Christ at his young age made me realize that I was missing the joy of knowing more about our Heavenly Father’s Son, and that’s when I decided to attend church every Sunday. The missionaries' visits helped me too, but my teenage son has been the one to show me and keep teaching me that Jesus Christ is our mentor and that we should follow His example of life when He lived on earth. How could we not have faith in Him if He gave his life for us?

"It’s hard to believe that a person younger than me, that I have lived with and shared all our life together, could teach me the right way to follow Jesus Christ and be an example of a person with a humble heart and many lessons that he has learned from the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I am very thankful to God for blessing me with my son.

"Now that I’m baptized, I feel joy, peace, and have an infinite faith that our Heavenly Father love us – that’s why He sent His only Son to save us. Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are with us helping us to make the right decisions and go through the right path to one day be all together with our Heavenly Father. All these words I say in the name of Jesus Christ, amen."
