The Broadmoor Church Office and Campus will be closed Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day. The office and campus will reopen at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, September 8.

Our final Sunday of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me: The Gospel in Toy Story” is tomorrow!

We’re so grateful for these past few weeks of diving into faith, friendship, and the Gospel through such a fun and meaningful series. And there’s still one more Sunday of Woody, Buzz and popcorn in the Connection Café (while supplies last)

8:30 AM Free coffee in the Connection Café and at 9:30 AM Enjoy coffee, light refreshments (and popcorn!) while connecting with our Café host.

9:00 AM — Traditional Worship in the Sanctuary
11:00 AM — Contemporary Worship

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers and church staff that helped bring the special elements of this series to life, including our Church Movie Night!

This past week, we celebrated 25 years of Dr. David Shaler’s ministry at Broadmoor with a staff lunch and a surprise recognition during Sunday worship!

For 25 years, Dr. David has shared his gifts, leadership, and love of music with our church family and community. We are so grateful for the many ways his ministry has blessed Broadmoor and for all the memories made along the way.

The Interfaith Build is just around the corner, and we still need volunteers!

Join us on Saturday, September 12, as Methodists from across Baton Rouge kick off the Interfaith Build by raising the walls of a new Habitat for Humanity home.

Saturday, September 12
8:00 AM–2:30 PM
1648 North 29th Street, Baton Rouge

We currently have 12 volunteers signed up and are looking for more! Whether you’re part of a Sunday School class, ministry, or simply want to serve, there’s a place for you.

Each class includes:
30 minutes of walking
Gentle stretching and light yoga
Light weights
Stretch bands
Flexibility and additional stretching exercises

No experience is necessary! Work at your own pace in a welcoming and supportive environment.
