Hey Friends, Pastor Michelle Here 👋 Dropping a note and invitation to join us this Summer for Soul Space on Monday nights from 6-7pm.

There are lots of feelings out there right now about what’s safe, what’s not, what’s real, what’s AI, and how we discern truth. Recently, I was asked whether Christians can practice yoga. That’s a significant question since we started this Soul Space/ Christian yoga/ meditation Monday thing a little over a year ago
Throughout that time, being accountable to others in prayer and meditation has been such a gift. The stretching is not the focus of the practice—it is simply one of the ways we quiet my body so I can better attend to the presence of God.

It’s amazing how collectively exhaling with a group of neighbors and strangers while sitting on the floor of the Sanctuary can create such a sense of connection.

Paired with silent prayer and the soothing sounds of live sound bowls, Soul Space becomes a different kind of worship experience—deeply personal and communal all at the same time.

This is certainly not a replacement for Sunday morning worship. It is simply an additional invitation. A spiritual practice. An opportunity for prayer intended to create space for you to encounter God.

This summer, .chiesaaa will be leading all sessions, combining restorative and gentle yoga movements with sound bowls to help participants unwind and reconnect. Pastor Michelle or another group member will share scripture, prayer, and liturgy to anchor the experience in Christ.

If you’ve never joined us, we’d love for you to come. We do take up an offering to help support our facilitators. The suggested donation is $10, but all are welcome, and there is no fee required to participate.
