September is National Preparedness Month, a time to encourage individuals, families and communities to prepare for natural and human-caused disasters.

Throughout the month, our IN-KY Synod Disaster Response Team will share tips to help you and your congregation be ready when disaster strikes.

This week’s tip: If you’re attending a Regional Gathering, join the Asset Mapping breakout session. You’ll learn how your congregation can identify the resources, skills and relationships it already has to respond to disasters, whether the need is in your own community or elsewhere across the Synod.
