For 40 years, The Church in Aurora has been walking alongside people during life’s hardest moments through our Stephen Ministry program, offering confidential, one-to-one Christian care and support.❤️

Have you ever felt called to encourage, listen, pray with, and support someone through a difficult season of life?

Join us on Sunday, June 7, before and after both services to learn more about becoming a Stephen Minister and how Stephen Ministry serves our church family.

If you have a caring heart and a willingness to walk alongside others, this ministry may be for you. Come to the info session to learn more.

God doesn't need us to bring Him places. He's already there! The kindness of strangers on a rainy beach in Malta shows us the Spirit was working long before Paul's shipwreck.

What if our calling is simply to recognize and join what God is already doing?

Worship Service 10:30AM
When Paul's ship wrecked off the coast of Malta, the first sign of God's presence wasn't a sermon or a miracle. It was a fire built by strangers, for people they didn't know, before anyone had a chance to prove they deserved it.

This Sunday we're asking: what would it look like to build that kind of fire for the people around us?

Sharing from the Aurora Chamber's Women of Wisdom event last night where Pastor Katie was one of 4 women who shared their stories.

On Sunday, we had the joy of celebrating our 2026 confirmation class.

These students gathered each week to learn, listen, ask questions, and think about what faith means in their own lives. They visited other churches, talked about our own traditions, and made space for honest conversations about God, doubt, belonging, and what it means to follow Jesus.

To our confirmands: May your faith be deep enough to hold you, wide enough to welcome others, and brave enough to keep growing.
