Fall Small Groups are starting soon, and you’re invited!

If you’re not sure what a “small group” is, think of it as a relaxed gathering of people who get together to talk about life and faith, learn together, and build meaningful connections. No pressure, and no need to have it all figured out.

Small groups are about real people, real conversations, and a place to belong.

You don’t have to be a member of the church to participate. Come as you are.

Some of the groups that still have openings are:
• The Book of Acts Bible Study
• Poverty, by America
• The Book of Romans - A Women's Bible Study
• Cultivating Wonder: Finding God in Everyday Life

Peter thought the Messiah would come with power and force. But Jesus was teaching his disciples that true greatness is found in humility, service, and lifting up the forgotten.

Getting the words right isn't enough. Faith is a lifelong journey of becoming who Jesus calls us to be.

Take a break in the middle of the week and enjoy lunch, conversation, and community at Kiwanis-Moore Park. Grab something from one of Aurora's Food Truck Wednesday vendors and spend time connecting with friends.

The food truck vendors this week are The Original Steaks & Hogies, W***y Nilly’s Wood Fired Pizza, and Sugar Mama Cannoli Cart.

The splash pad and playground are perfect for kids while adults catch up and enjoy lunch.

What a wonderful Rally Day and Back to School Sunday at TCIA!

We kicked off a new program year with worship and “Cultivating Curiosity”, our annual Backpack Blessing, new members, the return of the choir, fall small group sign-ups, and plenty of fellowship at our picnic.

We’re grateful for everyone who helped make the day special and to all who joined us as we begin a new season of worship, learning, and growing together!

It’s the first day of school for many of our students, and we wanted to share a short prayer from our Backpack Blessing on Sunday.

“Loving God, thank you for a world full of things to learn. Bless our backpacks and everything in them. Bless our teachers and our school and our friends and our parents and our bus drivers and the custodians and our neighbors that look out for us. Keep us curious, keep us kind, and remind us that all year long we are still growing, and we are always loved.”
