What does it mean to be the Church — not merely an institution, but the living Body of Christ, united with the saints across heaven and earth?
This summer, Mary Mother of the Good Shepherd Institute invites you to explore that question in depth. Communion of Saints: The Church as the Mystical Body of Christ is a ten-week seminar examining the Church's nature, mission, and identity through Scripture, Vatican II, and the Catechism — from her apostolic origins to the present day.
Topics include the four marks of the Church, the development of doctrine, ecclesial authority, the sacramental life, Mary as Mother of the Church, and the saints as living members of Christ's Body.
Diocesan educators can earn 9 CEUs through successful completion of this course!
