As we prepare for our departure our hearts are full. This team worked hard in extreme heat sharing Christ's love while playing soccer, baseball, teaching preschool and the installation of a water filtration system in a family's home. They dug deep into God's word and sought Him, to know His heart. Thank you to the Students International team in Las Batayes, your humble service to the community in Las Vascas and to us as your short term team will never be forgotten. Gloria A Dios!
More to come as we share the work God is doing to some of the most forgotten in this world.

Today is our last full day at the different ministry sites. The week has been filled with soccer, baseball, installing clean water filtration, praying and sharing with the elderly and fun with a group of high energy preschoolers. This team has fallen in love with the community we have been serving.

Our DR team gathered last night to begin our final preparations and share in communion together.

Please pray that our hearts would be focused on preparing to serve. Also keep the team of missionaries preparing for our arrival.

Our team will serve in four areas of outreach; preschool, soccer and baseball outreach and providing clean drinking water to families.

We will keep you posted as we depart on June 13th and while in country!

Donate your perennials/trees as you thin out your beds this spring. Please place in a small bag, label and drop at Friendship Alliance church under the pavilion May 1-2nd. The sale is May 2nd 9am-11am or until plants sell out. Suggested donation $3/plant and all funds will be used towards mission work in the Dominican Republic.
