Our DR team gathered last night to begin our final preparations and share in communion together.

Please pray that our hearts would be focused on preparing to serve. Also keep the team of missionaries preparing for our arrival.

Our team will serve in four areas of outreach; preschool, soccer and baseball outreach and providing clean drinking water to families.

We will keep you posted as we depart on June 13th and while in country!

Plant sale today Saturday May 2nd, 9-11am while supplies last at friendship alliance church. Suggested donation $3, cash or checks to living waters fellowship.

Join us May 2nd for a plant sale/fundraiser!
Donate your perennials/trees as you thin out your beds this spring. Please place in a small bag, label and drop at Friendship Alliance church under the pavilion May 1-2nd. The sale is May 2nd 9am-11am or until plants sell out. Suggested donation $3/plant and all funds will be used towards mission work in the Dominican Republic.

We are looking forward to our Spring Event tomorrow evening! Doors open at 5:30 pm with access to silent auction bidding and our coffee bar! Nacho bar opens at 6pm. And don't forget dessert! It's not too late to join us!
Have you ever heard of a Dessert Dash?
Dessert will be a fun, exciting way to help these team members for their upcoming trip. Each table places their bid for first choice of dessert. When your table is called DASH to the dessert table!
Team members going to the DR this summer have been hard at work. Here's one of the desserts that will be available tomorrow evening! Millionaire Flapjacks- chocolate, caramel and oatmeal!

This June we have the privilege to travel to the Dominican Republic with a team to work along side Students International. Here is an introduction to the work being done to help Haitians living in extreme poverty.

A great big thank you to all who attended and supported our annual fundraiser. The funds raised are helping with medical supplies, trips and any future needs the Lord brings across our path!

Our Annual Fall fundraiser is one week away! Join us on September 27th for a Coffee Bar from R44, international food samplings, dessert, the always-fun-silent auction and of course a special time of sharing the ways God has used LWF in 2025..
This years evening will end with a celebration of the life of LWF's dear friend, Steve Bakos.
The gifts given this evening will be used in the coming year for Senegal, Dominican Republic, Ukraine and a local homeless shelter. And anywhere else God leads us to give.
