Our worth is not determined by the praise or criticism of others, nor even by our own imperfect self-assessment. While we are called to examine our consciences honestly, the final judgment belongs to God alone. He sees our hearts completely, with both truth and mercy. In a world quick to judge, we can find peace in entrusting ourselves to the Lord.
