This Saturday- Join Rachel Kaplan and Brandy Hall on a Havdalah Hike. We will be meeting at 6:00 PM at a park in Decatur before going on a hike and celebrating Havdalah together. Brandy Hall (Shades of Green Permaculture) will be there to point out edible and medicinal plants. Come learn and be in touch with nature!

Join Ma’alot and Congregation Bet Haverim this Saturday for a joyful Shabbat morning designed especially for families with children ages 1–6 🌈🌳💖

Together, we’ll welcome Shabbat surrounded by trees, open sky, and space to explore. Through singing, movement, storytelling, and hands-on nature play, little ones (and their grown-ups) will experience the warmth and rhythm of Shabbat in a way that is playful, meaningful, and developmentally attuned.

Through conversation, a bit of Jewish wisdom, and the simple act of being in community, Rabbi Malka Packer and Jaime Stepansky, LCSW, will create space to listen to one another and to the deeper currents moving through our lives.

This event centers individuals who have lived experience as a girl, woman, and/or femininity. Trans, non-binary, and cis individuals are welcome.
