In a world where everything is fast, everything is reactive, we're holding space for men who want to slow down, learn, reflect, debate, and connect. That's what our Men's Wisdom Circles offer, plain and simple. It's not a lecture series. It’s not a fundraising ask. And it’s definitely not a High Holiday guilt trip.

Best way to find out if this is a fit for you? Try it. This weekend, we're gathering at an in-town home with Rabbi Joshua Lesser and Dan Arnold, LCSW. Small group, casual atmosphere, real conversation grounded in Jewish text and tradition.

🗓️ Sunday, April 12 from 7:00 - 8:30 PM

The leaders of Shabbat in the Round know that it’s better to offer a few words of prayer with kavvanah (intention and feeling) than many words without it. (Rambam agrees). So we sing just one verse from various psalms of Kabbalat Shabbat, and we sing it over and over so we can really feel it. No need to flip through a heavy prayer book, all the words you need are on one sheet or projected, complete with English transliteration and translation. You could dance and jump, cry, laugh, or sit in silence and stillness. We embrace it all, the highs and lows, the joy and the grief, together.
