08.30.26 Mini Mighty Bible Musings: pearl. Matthew 13:45-46 Pearls were rare and very valuable in Jesus’ time. A merchant would sacrifice other purchases to have enough money to buy a pearl. In this parable, the sacrifice Jesus was referring to is for the most precious thing – heaven. You can’t buy heaven. But you can have heaven on earth by sacrificing the world. Muse on this today.
