We honor you today, Pastor Patsy Behrman-Cameneti, a faithful servant of the Lord, a worshipper, a teacher of prayer, a missionary, and a pastor to multitudes since 1977. Your life was a living testimony of surrender to Christ and obedience to the Holy Spirit.
I first encountered your ministry in 2001, though I had been shaped by your prayer life long before I ever met you. I can still recall sitting in that little RHEMA Bible Training College library, watching those worn VHS tapes of Prayer School from the 70s through the 90s. There you were—eyes closed, heart lifted, voice raised in that heavenly language—pressing into the presence of God alongside Brother Kenneth E. Hagin. Those moments marked me forever.
That very year, 2001, was the most pivotal season of my young life. At just 25 years old, I lost my mother unexpectedly at the age of 49, and the world was shaken by 9/11. In my grief and searching, the Spirit of God used those prayer school tapes—your example, your intercession, your fire—to save my spiritual life. It was through your faithful demonstration of the power of prayer that I learned to yield fully to the Spirit and develop my own heavenly language.
Now, at 50 years old, I can testify that the fire of God still burns hotter in me today because of the seeds you sowed into a generation of prayer warriors. Pastor Patsy, your life will continue to echo in every prayer we pray, every soul we reach, and every life transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit. We grieve your departure, but we rejoice in Heaven’s gain. You have entered into the joy of your Lord, and we will carry the torch forward until we, too, join you around His throne.
