Part One, Titled: Living in the World Without Being Governed by the World
“Kingdom citizens live within the systems of this present world, but our highest allegiance belongs to Jesus Christ.”

In Part One, we will examine what it means to live, work, serve, and function within society without allowing the values, wisdom, and pressures of this present age to determine how we think, what we believe, whom we trust, or how we live.

Through 1 Corinthians 3:18–22, we will consider the difference between the wisdom of this world and the wisdom of God.

We will also journey into the life of Daniel, who lived in Babylon without allowing Babylon to become the spiritual authority over his heart. Daniel reminds us that our surroundings may change, systems may change, and cultures may change, but our allegiance to God must remain steadfast.

“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself…”

Come and be encouraged as we examine this important question: “Will the system around us shape who we become, or will the Kingdom of God govern our hearts and lives?
