Join us on Sunday, August 30, for Blessing of the Backpacks, as we pray a blessing over students of all ages, teachers, staff, professors - everyone going back to school. You can bring your backpack or workbag with you if you choose, and each person will receive a special backpack tag as a daily reminder that God is always with you no matter what!

We are so grateful for everyone who has donated at any point of this adventure we've started! After another successful and busy distribution night earlier this week, here is a list of our most needed sizes to prepare for our September 28th distribution.

Anything purchased from the wishlist will be sent directly to the church for processing!

Faith Together services are always uplifting and joyful and today's service was no different. It is so good when God's people gather together for praise and prayer! Beautiful music and liturgy, a powerful and inspiring message, and the fellowship and ministry fair was a perfect way to celebrate our time together. We hope you will join us for the next Faith Together service on Sunday October 11 at First UMC. All are welcome; all belong!

Mark your calendars! This Monday, August 24th at Christ United Methodist Church from 6pm to 7pm, will be our monthly Distribution Night!

Drive through our parking lot and receive the following per child:

* 40 Diapers or 20 Training Pants in the size requested
* 1 pack of wipes
* 2 packets of individual sized diapers creams

Join us on Sunday, August 23rd for the Faith Together ecumenical worship service at Peace Lutheran Church at 10 am with Vicar Derek Kubilus bringing the message. Stay after worship for the Faith in Action Ministry Fair to learn about the various ways each of these Ashland churches are in ministry to and with the community and how you can get involved. You may also bring nonperishable food items for the Sharing Shed. Please join us - all are welcome; all belong! Faith Together is a collaboration between Christ UMC, Come Alive Community Church, First Presbyterian, First UMC, and Peace Lutheran.
