Because the 4th Monday in May falls on Memorial Day, April will be a double distribution month and there will be no distribution in May! Here's what you can expect at our April distribution as a result:

On April 27th from 6pm-7pm when you stop by Christ United Methodist Church in Ashland, you will receive the following:

Diaper requests will receive 80 diapers instead of 40
Training Pants requests will receive 40 training pants instead of 20
Each child will receive 2 packs of wipes and 4 packs of individual sized diaper cream

After updating our inventory, our most needed items to help with a double distribution month are listed below. Please consider donating to the diaper pantry with these items to help us help those parents in need.

Donations can be dropped of at Ashland Christ United Methodist Church (1140 Claremont Ave.) any time Monday - Thursday 9am-4pm

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: CHURCH SERVICES ARE CANCELED FOR SUNDAY, JANUARY 25, 2026, DUE TO THE EXPECTED IMPACT OF THE WINTER STORM:
We have paid careful attention to the various meteorological models and due to the fact that the bulk of the snowfall is predicted to occur on Sunday morning and several of the area emergency agencies have cautioned against travel on Sunday morning, we have made the decision to cancel services for Sunday, January 25, 2026. Please spread the word to those who may not be on Facebook. These decisions are never made lightly, and your safety and well-being is our utmost priority. God would not want anyone to put themselves in harm's way to make it to church, and neither do we. Be blessed, stay warm, and stay safe!

This Christmas Eve, join us at Christ UMC to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ the Lord. Our evening begins with pre-service Christmas music at 7:00 pm, featuring organ, the Celebration Bells, flute, piano, and soloists; then stay for the family-friendly traditional candlelight Christmas Eve service at 7:30 pm with scripture, a message, choir and carols, culminating with singing Silent Night by candlelight. There is a place for you at Christ UMC - all are welcome here!
The service will be live streamed on Facebook and YouTube for anyone who would like to join us from home.

of Remembrance & Hope
Sunday, December 21 at 7:00 PM at Christ UMC
1140 Claremont Avenue, Ashland, OH

The wonder, joy, and celebration of Christmas, with its carols, parties, decorating, baking, gift-giving, and family time, can be a difficult time of intense sorrow and loneliness for those who are mourning the loss of a loved one. We offer this special service of remembrance of those loved ones, of hope and assurance that the Lord is with us at these difficult times and longs for our healing to come through the love of God in Jesus Christ.
Please feel free to bring a picture of your loved one to display in remembrance during the worship service. All are welcome.

Good morning everyone! It is CHILLY outside - even my dog who normally loves the snow is not a fan. We are planning to gather for worship, but use your best judgment as you decide whether it is safe for you to venture out today. If you choose, you can join us for worship in person or live stream the service on YouTube or Facebook. Be blessed, be safe, and may your hearts (and toes!) be strangely warmed by the live of Christ.
