Substance Church gathers for worship at: 101 South Street, Ashland, Ohio (Sundays at 10am)

Substance is made up of Community Groups that meet together during the week, typically sharing a meal, praying together and living life together throughout the week—serving each other, their neighbors and the community as missionaries in the place that God has sent them. On Sunday mornings, these Community

Groups gather together for worship through singing, taking communion, and hearing the Word preached—and celebrating how God is using his people to BE the church as disciples who make disciples! (Matthew 28:19-20)

On Sunday mornings in Ashland, we meet at 10am at 101 South Street, in the old Gilbert's building (parking in the rear of building). We hope you will join us tomorrow! Our gatherings begin on Sundays at 10am. We will have classes for children ages 0 through 4th grade. We always hope you stay after so that we can get to know you better over a doughnut or cup of coffee (it's all free!)

This weekend we continue our sermon series "Ekklesia: Body of Christ. Family of God"

What is the Church? Why did God establish it? How did he design it to work? Does it still matter today? Join us for a seven-week series examining what the New Testament says about the nature, origin, and marks of the Church (the body of Christ) and healthy churches (families of faith). In all things, we look to Christ, who is the head and foundation of His Church. Only by our continual abiding in Him and submission to His authority can we function and flourish according to God's good design.
