Our NC mission team’s weekend was full of beautiful worship! We attended Mass at Immaculate Conception in Forest City and then St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church in Lake Lure. Two very different expressions of communion with God and others, but equally as meaningful and inspiring. 💖 God’s love for us is deep and wide and we can’t wait to pour out the love we have received into the beautiful Lake Lure community this week!

Twelve AU students loaded the vans this morning to serve the residents of Lake Lure, North Carolina, who have continued to face difficulties after Hurricane Helene caused major flooding in 2024. There’s a fun week ahead of showing up, listening to stories, and meeting tangible needs in Jesus’ name…we can’t wait to see how God moves!
