Scio Community Church belongs to the Christian and Missionary Alliance, an evangelical Protestant denomination which emphasizes a deep personal relationship with God through Christ, as well as the importance of sharing the gospel with our community and the world. The Christian and Missionary Alliance was founded in 1887 by Dr. Albert Benjamin Simpson. The C&MA family includes over two million people in 57 countries. Worldwide we are linked to other believers who share a passion to reach those without Christ through the Alliance World Fellowship. The message is fourfold: Christ our Savior, Christ our Sanctifier, Christ our Healer, and Christ our Coming King. Protection for Persecuted Christians: Prayers for believers, pastors, and churches facing violence from extremist groups

Safety from Kidnapping and Violence: Urgent pleas for the safe return of abducted children, students, and citizens, and for divine intervention against bandits.

National Peace and Unity: Prayers for an end to tribalism, injustice, and sectarian conflicts, asking for a renewed sense of community and harmony.

Wisdom for Leaders: Intercession for government officials and security forces to make righteous decisions, combat corruption, and protect innocent lives.

Economic Relief: Prayers for stability, that resources would be used to improve the lives of all people, particularly in dealing with poverty and infrastructure challenges.
