Originally from Toledo, Ohio, he serves as a student leader in UCO Lansing and lives in the UCO men’s household. It is with great joy that we announce that on April 22nd, 2026, the Servants of the Word Brotherhood Council, which meets every four years, has re-elected David Mijares as the Presiding Elder of our brotherhood.

David’s second four-year term will officially begin in September 2027.

We are thankful for David’s life and his service, and we continue to ask for your prayers and support for him and our brotherhood.
