We are a Christian church in the Ankeny community. We exist to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus.

Christ Lutheran Church began as a church plant in 2016. For four years we worshiped as The Gate, inspired by John 10:9 where Jesus says, “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.” In 2020, we moved into a new building and adopted the name Christ Lutheran Church to clearly proclaim who our Savior is and what we believe. As Christ Lutheran Church we exist to worship God, grow together in faith, and serve others.

You’re invited! Please join our church as we Walk for Life supporting AGAPE of Des Moines and Indianola pregnancy resource center.

The walk and family zone are free to join, but they would still appreciate registration in order to prepare supplies. If you want to support the ministry and our walk for life financially, you can donate online our my church’s fundraising link below. Every dollar raised helps provide free pregnancy services, compassionate support, and life-affirming care to women and families:

As Jesus tells the parable of the two sons, He credits the one who acts. God calls us to live out the faith which He has given to us.

09/21/2026

Isaiah 55:8. God does things differently than we do. The difference is the point, not the problem.

09/14/2026

We forgive as we have been forgiven.

09/07/2026

The confrontation of sin must happen, but how and to what end?

08/31/2026

God has entrusted us with time, talent and treasure not for safe keeping but for use in the kingdom. Burying what He gives us is not humility, but unfaithfulness.
