Village Bible Church Come worship with us, Sundays at 10:00am! We look like a traditional New England Church but beneath the surface there's a different spirit in us.

We are a church family based in Amherst, NH devoted to helping people build an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and have that change their entire lives. We want to help people, be involved in our community and forge relationships with anyone looking for hope in a challenging world. We invite you to partner with us!

Hypocrisy comes from an old Greek term which translates essentially to "playing a part." Jesus' message is clear: a relationship with me isn't a role you play. It's not about a religious facade. Are you a fraud before Jesus, or are you his friend?

Are there nights for you where you lay awake, wondering how you got where you were? Wishing for relief, desperate for any kind of help. The help is here. His name is Jesus, and he is calling you with a love greater than you can ever imagine. Come, follow him, and be changed forever.

Spend little time looking and you'll find someone who says that God will promise physical healing, or akin to it, if you just put your faith in Jesus. The issue is, God nowhere promises healing like that on this side of heaven. What He does promise is that those who believe in Him, He heals what matters most. The problem of sin, that lies deep in the pit of our hearts. And He promises that one day, just like physical infirmity will be a thing of the past, so will the sin that pervades this life.

The reality: demons exist. There is an unseen spiritual realm where demons live and actively engage with this world that we live in.

The hope: No one walking with Christ needs to worry about the power of demons - because Christ has ultimate authority over everything, including demons.

The question: Are you worried more about demonic influence, or about walking close with God?

What would you give up to follow Jesus? What would you pay for it? Jesus shows us in the Gospel of Mark that the question is actually pointed the wrong way. The question should be: is there anything worth keeping that could bring as much satisfaction, joy, or peace as following after God?

Every one of the four Gospel accounts make the same claim: Jesus is God. Not Jesus is god-like, not Jesus attained a status as god, but Jesus is God. Anything less than that is a Jesus foreign to the Bible and unable to truly save His people.
