Hello Everyone! ❤️
It's a funny thing about dreams. Sometimes they find you in the most unexpected ways, at the most unexpected times. This picture was taken almost a year ago when Doug gave me a necklace with a silver swan on it for my birthday. Amazing, awesome, wonderful guy that he is! At the time, I'd just discovered something called Silver Swans, a program for seniors who take ballet.
Well, over the past year, I've been slowly making my way back to ballet classes - first online - then private lessons in person - and since the first of the year a weekly adult ballet class at a local studio.
And . . . today, after completing a special training program, I learned I qualify to receive the license from the Royal Academy of Dance to teach Silver Swans classes!!!
I'd give all the world to tell my most special teacher, Jack Clause, some of you have heard about for so long and I wrote about in "That Certain Something," on my blog:

He was the one who first set me on fire with love of ballet in that Honolulu studio 50 years ago now. Some have asked why I never opened a ballet studio. Well, I wasn't drawn to teach kids. Like Jack, I wanted to teach adults but there was never a way to see that happening. So, over the years, I've focused on other forms of dance which have also been wonderful and a blessing to share with some of you:)
But . . . it turns out I was supposed to teach ballet after all - just not until I was 76 as a Silver Swan!!!
I love God.
Whatever your dream is . . . don't ever give up!!!!!!!!!

Graduation season! Change is in the air.

May is the season for college graduations, a rite of passage for many young people as they leave their lifetime of schooling to head into the “Real World”, as if their life wasn’t already pretty real. College graduation is called Commencement though because while one part of life is ending, another has just begun. This service will look at the many endings and commencements we all go through in life and the struggles that often accompany them.

Believing and Seeing
This service will address how we co-create the reality we experience by the way we interpret it. We will explore the idea that the saying: "I'll believe it when I see it" may be a little backwards. More accurately, it may be: "I'll see it when I believe it." We'll see how to hold Spirit's hand to have our best life.
Rev. Dr. Kathleen Brock: Buddhism has taught me to use my mind and limit the amount of time that my mind uses me! I am privileged to share how those concepts have helped me in my spiritual journey.

We are all mothers of creation, men and women, God’s co-creators of reality. On Mother’s Day as we honor the Hallmark Mother in all her flowers, beauty and Love, we will also honor the gestation, labor and the transition of every moment;
each moment giving birth to a new potential. There are so many directions in which to explore the implications of motherhood. Out of a mystical womb of darkness a spark of Light is birthed. Let’s see where Spirit takes us.
