Christmas in Amherst Village NH - House Tours Saturday, December 14, 2024,
Tour five historical homes beautifully decorated for Christmas as well as the 1774 Congregational Church on the Village Green.

All funds raised go towards the maintenance of the 1774 meetinghouse. Christmas in Amherst Village NH is an annual event that gives you an opportunity to tour historic homes in the community. The Congregational Church of Amherst plans and hosts this magnificent event. The Meetinghouse is the most prominent landmark in the Village. Its spire is the tallest structure in the town and is found on the

town seal. Over it's 240 year history, it has been the meetinghouse for church services, town meetings and gathering space for generations of Amherst residents. As stewards of this historic building, the trustees of the church continue to preserve it by keeping it safe, accessible, and in good repair. Proceeds from the Christmas in Amherst Village House Tour help to preserve this historic landmark.
