One of the most practical takeaways from Sunday’s message is this:
Think service first.

Wherever God has placed you, there is an opportunity to serve.
As a parent:
How can I serve my children and help equip them for the future?
As a spouse:
How can I serve my husband or wife in a way that strengthens them?
At work:
How can I lighten someone’s load?
In business:
How can I truly help people instead of just trying to profit from them?
At church:
Where can I use my gifts to bless others?

Sometimes we think purpose is hiding somewhere far away, when often purpose is found in the simple act of serving the person right in front of us.

Your life is a gift. And gifts are meant to be given away.
If you want to experience real fulfillment, stop asking only, “What do I need?” and start asking, “How can my life make someone else’s life better?”

That is where joy grows.
That is where purpose becomes real.
That is where Kingdom greatness begins.

In God’s Kingdom, greatness serves.

We will not be having our annual block party this year.

But we hope you can all join us for our run for Hope & Miracle Mile event on October 3!
This run benefits Hope Haven, our home for pregnant women.

Have you ever failed so badly that you wondered if God could still use you?
Peter knew exactly what that felt like. He promised Jesus he would never leave Him—and then denied Him three times.

But failure wasn’t the end of Peter’s story.

Next Sunday we continue our Follow Me series with Follow Me After Failure, from John 21:15–19.

We’ll see how Jesus meets Peter after his greatest failure, restores him, renews his calling, and says to him once again:

“Follow Me.”
