Today, August 20th, 2026 was the dedication of the new campus of the Missionary Baptist Seminary, and the start of a new school year. I am rejoicing that I was able to attend and to see what good things our Lord has done.
I have had the great privilege of studying at the Missionary Baptist Seminary. First at the campus located at Asher and Brown, then at the campus located on Stagecoach road. I am an alumni and my time in the Missionary Baptist Seminary has truly been life changing.
The Missionary Baptist Seminary under the direction of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church has been a blessing to the churches of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, a blessing stretching from generation to generation. My pastor was an alumni, my mentors were alumni, and almost every pastor who has served our congregation in the last 100 years has been an alumni.
The positive influence of the Seminary spreads into far away time zones but it is also very close to home. This positive influence is as close as the messages you hear on any given Sunday, and as close as the scriptures we study together. Let us never forget that the generosity of churches such as ours make this positive influence possible.
As your pastor I encourage you to view the recording of these services. I especially encourage you to listen to Brother Copeland's remarks from minutes 54 to 109.32. I believe it will be a blessing to you.
Vimy Ridge Missionary Baptist Church has been a consistent supporter of the work of the Missionary Baptist Seminary. As an alumni, and as your pastor, I thank you Vimy Ridge Missionary Baptist Church for being so willing to support this noble work.
